Time for a quick update on what I’ve been doing this summer and fall.

Swimming Straight Into My Heart
Last weekend I went to New Hampshire with Julian and Erin to get our boat-drivers certifications. Now I can now drive a boat in 49 states! (I should probably find out what that last one is….)
We also learned how to wakeboard, which is really exhausting.
I killed one terrarium along the way but consider it a fair price to pay for aquatic freedom.
The 4th in French Montreal
I decided to take advantage of the long weekend and catch a bus up to Montreal. I can’t bike due to a knee injury and my friends Noa and Lea are living in Montreal, so it was the perfect excuse.

Charly Visits – Jerusalem

Charly Comes To Town
My good friend Charlotte (Charly) came to visit last week. It was her first time in Israel but it was only for 9 days, so we had a lot of things to see and not a lot of time to do it. We traveled from all the way up in the Golan Heights, to all the way down to Makhtesh Ramon, and everywhere in between. But first, we started in Tel Aviv.

Kibbutz Bar’am
Last weekend, I went with 10 other people from my program up north to spend the weekend on a kibbutz.

Hiking Har Carmel
Some photos from our hike up Har Carmel, near Haifa. It was a fun day that involved a Druze village, hardstyle, amazing falafel, and a really sketchy Sheirut ride. And we did it in shorts and t-shirts on December 5th.

Ein Gedi, Dead Sea, and a Dialogue Seminar
This past weekend, our program took a trip to Ein Gedi and the dead sea for some hiking, swimming, and two days of dialoguing with Israeli peers.
